I recently visited Simple Wok in Ormeau, just next to domino’s, it was a great experience! The atmosphere is welcoming, with friendly staff who were attentive throughout the meal. I ordered sweet & sour pork, honey chicken, ginger and shallot fish, original milk tea and super mixed fruit tea, all perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Portions were generous, and prices were reasonable for the quality and lovely service. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and craving some delicious Chinese food. Will definitely be coming back to try more dishes!🥰

Great local spot for everyday SE Asian food. Tasty and inexpensive. Nice enough to eat in, but probably mostly takeaway. Nice folk. Glad I found it. Unlicensed for alcohol.

I would be honest that I have a high standard nowadays when tasting Chinese food, so I didn’t expect this place would exceed my expectations. However, surprisingly it turned out to be really impressive. The dishes were all freshly cooked and had balanced tastes of tradition and modernity. What’s even better is the heart warming service from the owner and staff. They have different varieties of fried rice. They have traditional Chinese lollies. The lollies with yellow wraps are crushed peanuts with sugar coats. The white ones are condensed milk lollies. They are both traditional Chinese lollies. 5 star box ticked!
