We arrived at late Friday and were lucky to find a place like Bento Box on George that still served hot food. While it was a take away order, the food was prepared with care and their attention to details was a standout for us. We went back the other day and tried few more different dishes - all was very delicious & tasty! Definitely recommended!

We arrived pretty late into Launceston on a Monday and this was the only place with the kitchen still open. They were full when we walked in, family of five. Fortunately a table was just ready to leave.
Though casual the menu is extensive with Bento, sushi rolls, a great selection of extras to share.
Our food came within a few minutes, so even our "starving" kids didn't have long to wait.
The food was fresh and delicious.
Highly recommend Bento Box for a casual meal in Launceston.

Great service! The lady was very kind and respectful. The food was some of the best Japanese food i have ever had and much better quality than i expected from a restaurant chain. Highly recommend!!

Honestly the best Japanese place I’ve been to outside of Japan.
Rice was cooked perfectly to my liking and protein was incredibly flavourful.
Only thing that could be improved on is the tempura, being as it was a little soggy when I had it, but nonetheless, still an amazing experience and truly took me back to my time in Japan.
Highly recommend the seared salmon don and any bento.
