wais-chinese-restaurant

quote Chinese takeaway inside South Lake’s shopping centre’s food hall. The area is a bit sad. Average pricing. Had a good selection of classic Chinese food. My sweet & sour fish was very generous in serving and well done. My husband’s special fried rice was tasteless. He needed to add soy sauce to it.

quote Best goat biryani I've had (comparing to mutton dum biryani). Butter chicken was fantastic as well. Quality indian good served here. Prices are on the higher end but it is only fair considering the quality. I'd skip the gravy Manchurian next time and stick to the dry version. Excellent!

quote Chin’s Noodle House is an absolute gem for anyone who loves authentic Chinese cuisine. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. The service here is impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who make sure every detail is taken care of, from wine recommendations to ensuring each dish is served at the perfect temperature. The food is truly exceptional. We ordered a variety of dishes, and each one exceeded our expectations. The fried noodles were perfectly cooked, with a delightful balance of textures and flavors that made every bite satisfying. Their dim sum selection is also outstanding—each piece is freshly made and bursts with authentic, rich flavors that are simply a delight. The stir-fried beef was tender and seasoned to perfection, with a smoky undertone that enhances the natural flavor of the meat. Similarly, the stir-fried chicken was cooked just right, remaining juicy and flavorful with a hint of spice that added a nice kick. One standout dish that I must mention is the grilled prawns. These were succulent, with a slightly charred exterior that gave way to sweet, tender meat inside. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented, and you could tell that great care and skill went into preparing each one. To complement the excellent food, Chin’s Noodle House also offers a well-curated selection of wines that pair wonderfully with the meal. The wine we chose had a full-bodied flavor that elevated the dining experience even further. Overall, Chin’s Noodle House is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates high-quality Chinese cuisine. We ordered a large variety from the menu, and every single dish was a hit. Highly recommend to food enthusiasts looking for a place that combines fantastic food with top-notch service.

quote Popped in on one rainy day because Coogee doesn't have many casual dining options and came in just before the rush! It does take a bit of time to make a pide so I'd recommend popping into spudshed across the store! I got the chicken and spinach pide with large fries (which was plenty to split between 2). It was delicious! So soft and tasty - just like a warm hug. It wasn't oily at all and the chips were perfectly crunchy. Definitely a great local kebab place.
