Read about the KL Hokkien Noodle rave review here and thought I give it a try. Perhaps my expectations were too high. It was a little sugary sweet for my liking. The lack of wok hei dampens my anticipation. Salt fish fried rice is pretty good, CKT is average fare and I did not try the BCM because it didn’t look too appetising.
Service was quick which is a plus. I reckon the Asian churches nearby brings in the lunch crowd.
Overall, it is crowded for a Sunday. Patrons must be enjoying their fares. For me, it’s just ok and I should not have been swayed by the ratings.

Great and Affordable Authentic Indonesian Food
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The Bubur Ayam was delicious, though I would have preferred it with a bit less salt. The lamb satay was tender and juicy, and all the other dishes were equally tasty. The owner was also very courteous, adding to the pleasant dining experience.

This is a small, unassuming street-side shop where I happened to have dinner. To my surprise, the food was exceptionally delicious—the sweet and sour pork was tender and flavorful, and the tofu casserole was rich and tasty…

It's rare for me to give 5 stars to a restaurant. This was one of the best Cambodian restaurants I have tasted, in my entire life. I know it sounds absurd, but the food was amazing. The service was not bad. The server, even though she tried to talk to us in English, because I think she was non-English, she was still attentive and very friendly to customers. The restaurant, itself, has both Vietnamese and Cambodian kind of feel to it, even though there were Vietnamese paintings and the restaurant is both Cambodian and Vietnamese. We ordered Shaking Beef with Dry Egg Noodles, Cambodian Pork on Rice and and Boat Noodles with Braised Offals. I tried the Cambodian Pork on Rice, with a bit of the Shaking Beef and Noodles. First time trying Cambodian Pork and it was delicious. Pork had a bit of sweet flavour. Definitely highlighting the pork flavour. The rice is good. The braised eggs were braised perfectly. Eggs were cooked, and maintained a nice eggy flavour to it. Nice colour on the egg and pork. Beef is very tender, outside has a nice colour, as well. Noodles were flavourful. Overall, it's a great place to start if you looking for Cambodian food, as well as Vietnamese food.

We have been to the Malaysian before in November last year, and it was a great experience then. And our second visit was even better. All the stuff are very friendly and the food is amazing. We will be coming back here 😋
